MENTAL ANGUISH FITNESS
Since my early teens I have battled major chronic mental illness. I did not understand that I was mentally ill until my late 20's. My life was chaos and will forever be chaos. Yet, out of that chaos I have ended up with 3 wonderful, understanding daughters.
Since I have schizophrenia, O.C.D./anxiety and major depression - I have accepted that I will never get better. Yet, I can still have/deserve a life. Since the young age of 41. :) I have been in over a hundred cycling races. Recently, I have taken up bodybuilding and competitive arm wrestling.
My message is simple: To others that are mentally ill - find something you are passionate about and peruse it. We are living a different life than others. We do not need to be rich or famous. In a way we are blessed because we can peruse our dream.
The reason why I put myself out in the world is an attempt to end the stigma of mental illness. It is horrible when others - including family - think of me as the same as a mass murderer - someone whom would go and shoot people.
I find it sad that people are still comparing someone that struggles to do the best they can given their limitations to someone that does evil. :(
My goal is to fight this awful stigma!

**November 2018 I was run over by an SUV/Truck. Occurred multiple injuries. Including Broken Back, broken left arm, broken right and left wrist, multiple fingers, lost a thumb, nerve damage on left leg. Had multiple surgeries, plate, pins, and screws in wrist. Which obviously destroyed arm wrestling.
#Last two years I have been cycling online using a recumbent bicycle while recovering.
Using Zwift and now Rouvy online programs.
#June 1st, through August 31st, 2020 medaled in Plant Ultra OCD distance challenge.
